KANTHA'S STORY
Kantha is the tradition of producing patch quilts out of recycled, colorful fabrics.
Bengali women have upcycled their well worn fabrics into quilts for 500 centuries. The timeless, bohemian quilts originated out of the necessity to keep these women and their families warm, allowing even illiterate women to leave a lasting impact by breathing new life into their old fabrics.
Our passion at Kantha Floral Studio is to support women in creating their own story for their unique celebration. This story is based on years of dreams; a coming to light of her beautiful essence in her own space and time.
Kantha symbolizes the ingenuity of women gathering together to build a creation that surpasses their place in time.
OWNED + OPERATED by Jacqlyn Marie Griffith, Kantha Floral Studio is a boutique floral company based out of the Central Coast specializing in unique floral design for weddings and events.
Our designs are nature inspired, letting blooms' organic movement and color take the shape, while weaving in a bit of artful but simplistic edge. My goal is to create floral art that takes you and your guests into a magical space that creates a mood of organic warm, beauty with an inexplicable draw.
